Hiring checker: is this company hiring?
Give a company's website. See whether it is hiring, how much, where and in which teams.
- Open roles counted, never estimated
- By department, location and date
- Free: 20 checks a day, no account
Give it something to look up — Glee will do the digging.
How the hiring checker works
Hiring is one of the clearest signs of what a company is doing next. A team that is opening ten engineering roles is building; a sales team doubling in a new country is expanding there; a careers page with nothing on it for a year says something too. For sales, investment and partnership research it is often the most current fact there is.
This checker finds the company's careers page and the applicant-tracking system it uses — the software that runs its job listings. Many of these systems publish the company's open roles as a public job board; when they do, the roles are read and counted: how many are open, in which departments and locations, how many were posted in the last 30 days, and what share are remote.
When the company's system publishes no public board, the answer says which system it uses and leaves the count unknown. It never guesses a number from a page that may be incomplete.
What each field means
- Open roles
- The number of roles on the company's public job board, or unknown.
- Applicant-tracking system
- The software the company uses for its job listings.
- Posted in the last 30 days
- Roles first published (or last updated, where no publish date is given) in the last 30 days.
Where this check stops
- Counts only roles on the job board the company links from its site; roles advertised elsewhere are not seen.
- Some systems publish no public board: then open roles are unknown, not zero.

Frequently asked
Which job systems are supported?
Open roles are counted for Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee and Personio boards. Teamtailor, BambooHR, Workday and several others are recognised by name.
Does it show who is hiring or who applied?
No. Roles carry a title, department, location and date only — never names of people.
